What Happened After the SSC GD CBT Result in 2025?

The previous recruitment cycle provides a useful idea of how the process can move forward after the Computer Based Examination.

For SSC GD 2025, the Computer Based Examination result was declared on 17 June 2025. A total of 3,94,121 candidates were shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

The PET/PST was conducted from 20 August to 15 September 2025. The subsequent recruitment stages were then processed according to the official recruitment procedure.

The 2026 schedule and qualifying numbers should be confirmed from the official SSC notices when they are released.

SSC GD Selection Process

The recruitment process generally includes multiple stages. For candidates who qualify the relevant stage, the process can include:

• Computer Based Examination (CBE)

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Physical Standard Test (PST)

• Medical Examination

• Document Verification

• Final result and force allocation, as applicable

Candidates should follow the specific instructions issued by SSC and the concerned CAPF for each stage.

SSC GD Previous Year Cut-Off for Assam

Assam candidates should be careful while checking SSC GD cut-off figures because there is not necessarily one single cut-off applicable to every candidate in the state.

SSC’s official 2025 CBE result showed separate Assam cut-offs for different areas and categories.

The official SSC table contains additional Assam entries depending on area and category. Candidates should therefore check the complete official result document rather than comparing their marks with a single state-wide number.

Why Assam Candidates Should Not Rely on One Expected Cut-Off

SSC GD cut-offs can differ according to factors such as:

• Candidate category

• Gender

• Area classification

• State/UT-wise vacancies

• Force-wise vacancies

• Candidate availability

• Recruitment stage

Because of these differences, an unofficial article claiming one fixed “Assam cut-off” may not represent every candidate.

For SSC GD 2026, the actual cut-off should be taken from the official SSC result/cut-off document after its release.

What Assam Candidates Should Do After the Result

Candidates from Assam who qualify should keep their recruitment documents ready and regularly check official updates regarding the next stage.

In particular, candidates should pay attention to:

• PET/PST schedule

• Physical standards and requirements

• Document verification instructions

• Medical examination information

• Force/organization-related notices

• Final result and allocation updates

Candidates should not miss a stage because of information obtained only from unofficial social media posts.
